Albany for ANZAC Day 2018

Albany is where the first Expeditionary Force grouped up before sailing to the First World War.  It included contingents from Australia, New Zealand, India and Japan.  An extensive memorial has been developed over the years including contributions from Turkey.

The group will form up at Birdsville shortly after the commencement of the school holidays and cross the Simpson Desert, visit Yulara and then continue west picking up the Great Central Road to Leonora and then down to Albany via Kalgoorlie.
